A light Chasen for finely whipped Matcha
The Standard Bamboo Whisk is the classic tool for preparing Matcha calmly and cleanly. Its bristles combine powder and water into a smooth texture and bring the foam where it belongs: directly into your bowl.
In preparation, the light bamboo whisk gives you control over movement, air, and consistency. It works well in wide-open Matcha bowls and supports an even, bright green foam.
The whisk is called Chasen in Japan and is made from light bamboo. Before whisking, you can briefly soak the bristles in water; this makes them more flexible for preparation.
After use, rinse the Chasen with clear water and let it air dry. This helps it retain its shape better and be ready for your next Matcha.
